How ParkByHand (operated by CLEARDEAL LLC) handles data, in plain language. Last updated October 2026.
ParkByHand serves many independent parks. Each park's data — its sites, rates, guests, reservations, folios and payments — belongs to that park, is visible only to that park's account, and is never shared with another park, sold, or used for advertising. Parks decide what guest information they collect; we process it to run their reservations.
Card payments are collected by Stripe on Stripe's hosted pages, directly into the park's own Stripe account. Card numbers never reach or rest on ParkByHand servers. For seasonal billing, the card reference is held by Stripe, not by us.
Operate the park's reservations, billing, emails and reports; keep daily backups so the book can be restored after a failure; and answer the park's support questions. That is the whole list. No marketing profiles are built from guest data, and guest data is not shared with data brokers or advertisers.
Confirmation, reminder and morning-sheet emails are sent through a transactional email provider, which receives the recipient address and message content for delivery only.
A park can export its guests, reservations and transactions to CSV at any time, itself, from inside the product. A park that leaves can request deletion of its data; backups roll off on their normal cycle. Guests who want their details corrected or removed should contact the park they booked with — it is the park's guest list — and we will support the park in acting on the request.
