ParkByHand is operations software. Its quotes, charges, proration, tax figures and reports are computed from the sites, rates, rate periods, tax rates, meter rates and cancellation tiers that each park enters. If an entered figure is wrong, the computation faithfully repeats the error — parks should verify their setup, and spot-check their first season's reports, the way they would with any new system.
Nothing in ParkByHand or on this site is accounting, tax or legal advice. Tax collected reports summarize what the park's own entered rates produce; the park remains responsible for its filings and remittances, and should confirm its obligations with its own accountant or tax authority.
Comparative figures about other software on this site come from public pricing pages and owner reports available when written and are labeled as such; other vendors change their pricing, and parks should confirm current figures before making decisions.
